When I am not at Silkworm enjoying the “creative problem solving” interaction with our team, I enjoy playing racquetball, taking long bike rides, Hiking in the woods, reading books, making sawdust in the wood shop, Eating Thai food, Cooking, Playing bocce ball at Riverside Park, Hanging out, and relaxing with Cynthia at our Creekpaum farm house.
V.P. of Sales & Marketing
I find myself hilarious and I laugh at my own jokes. I am a fierce competitor and sports fan so I’m always coaching from the stands. I enjoy making Silkworm a great place to work. I take great pride in the relationships I’ve been able to build over the years. When I’m not acting as Sezmore’s right hand lady, I spend time with family, friends and my five fur kids.
Good luck getting me to sit in one spot for more than a minute. I am always on the go and have a ton of energy. I enjoy working at Silkworm because I get to let my creative genes run wild. I love my family above all else, which is probably why I love Holidays so much. If you are looking for snacks or have snacks, come to my desk because I love to eat.
I have no idea what my real hair color is but I’m all natural when it comes to home remedies. I have one of those laughs that carry throughout the whole building and I always have twizzlers and a Dr. Pepper within arms length. I wear bright lipsticks to match my “sassy side.” I love bonfires, fresh Calhoun County peaches and my red haired fur baby.
I was born and raised in California and my most memorable trip was to Florence and Venice in Italy but lets change up the picture a little bit… If I’m not at work, I’m in a deer stand, I’m a great bow hunter, I make a mean honey BBQ sandwich, I dream of catching a monster catfish and I drive a Chevy, always will. If you go skydiving, call me.
I’m going to brag for just a second; I have written two novels, skated with Tony Hawk, I’m a wicked Bocce ball player, I have a Master’s in Medieval History and am a four time member of the Silkworm million dollar club. When I’m not trying to beat professional or personal records, I enjoy giving back to my community with my wife and our awesome son.
One day there will be a show about me on TLC. I am a camo trendsetter, live off the grid, love to fish, a bourbon connoisseur and I married my childhood sweetheart. Share recipes with me, I love to cook. I enjoy working at Silkworm and am a member of the million dollar club. If you are looking for a history or poli sci trivia whiz call me.
My favorite part of working at Silkworm is telling the customer’s story on the back of a t-shirt. Mine would read something like this; Southern Illinois is where I want to be with my wife and three daughters. My bucket list includes getting my aviation license, being inducted into the video game hall of fame, and being an Oscar winning videographer.
I am a southern Illinois native and farm boy. I am a graduate of the University of Illinois and I bleed orange and blue. My favorite trip was to Vienna (Austria, not Illinois) and Munich for Oktoberfest. When I’m not working at Silkworm, I love playing my guitar (poorly) and watching my World Series champion Cubs.
I am a nerd at heart. I’m fascinated by science, love comics and have killer Mario Kart skills. Before Silkworm, I was a professional photographer. I love to snap pictures; I can’t pass up a great picture opportunity. I love to cook Cajun food and live an organic lifestyle. I love meeting new people at Silkworm, but my true love is my son.
I’m a pretty crafty person. I love making wreaths, jewelry and whatever I find on Pinterest. When I’m letting my creative side rest, I enjoy the outdoors with my husband and our two fur babies. My family is the most important to me. Don’t let the crafty side of me trick you; I also enjoy old time scary movies, especially Vincent Price and target shooting.
I’m addicted to sushi and sugar. Love summer and being in the water. Can’t get enough of playing/watching any sport but basketball is my one true love. Going to the gym is in my every day routine. My family is the most important thing to me. I’m a pretty good sport with all the weird requests I get from marketing.
I am a true “maroon blooded” Saluki fan. I was a drummer for SIU marching Salukis and Pep Band and attend as many events as possible. I still consider myself a mean drummer. I started out as a friend and customer of Silkworm; a referral source and now a salesman. When I’m not working I spend time with my wife and four children.

Give me a guitar, mic and a notebook to write some lyrics, some grunge and I’m a happy man. When I’m not working you can find me playing in my band, television binge watching, checking out the newest podcasts or shooting bow and arrow with the Pyramid Archery Society Traditional. I also have a flying purple pig tattoo for the record.
I love watching my daughter play softball and basketball. I don’t like anything green, love scrapbooking and shopping. I get together with my family every Sunday for family supper. I love having yard sales. I love meeting new people. I love the Silkworm Thanksgiving family feast. Most of all just spending time with my husband and daughter.

I’ve been with Silkworm for 20 years. Co workers call me the voice of Silkworm. I thought about retiring a couple of years ago but decided to downsize to “part time”… I love it. I love to bake so I feed my fellow wormers as often as possible and I take special requests. When I get off work I enjoy working in the yard and doing projects around the house.
Human Resources & Relations
I am a Southern Illinois girl. I love people, which is how I landed in Human Resources. I am a goal setter, which has led to a Ph.D., pilot’s license, and endurance cycling, endurance running and triathlons. Although my passions are many, my heart belongs to God, my husband and four amazing children.

You can find me spending time with my lovely daughters and my beautiful wife. I love music! Listening to it, playing it, singing it at the top of my lungs (horribly I might add). I am not a homebody what so ever. So I will find any excuse to get out of the house, even to the point of clearing off the driveway that has 6 inches of snow on it, using only a mop bucket…
